Greetings in the Name of Jesus!

VALENTINE’S DAY IS THIS SUNDAY… A day that is loved and hated and every feeling in between. However, perhaps we can broaden our perspective on it by broadening our view of who we can love and what that looks like.

The origin of love: “This is Love. Not that we loved God, but that God loved us and sent His son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.”
I John 4:10

The result of God’s love living in us: “By this, all people will know that you are my disciples if you have love for one another.”
John 13:35.

The way we love demonstrates who we are. Get creative and do not limit yourself on how and to whom you can show God’s love. Maybe it will be flowers, chocolates, a Hallmark card to that “special someone.” Or perhaps it is a kind word, a respectful tone of voice, a helping hand to a friend, colleague, or someone you do not even know. The possibilities are endless!

Wendy is a huge fan of Mr. Fred Rogers, and she reminded me of a song he used to sing:

“There are many ways to say I Love You.
There are many ways to say I care about you.
Many ways, many ways, many ways to say… I Love You.”

Join us this weekend at one of our campuses or online. Come and find a way to show love to someone and let God love you.

YOU ARE NOT ALONE!
